All or some of the symptoms below may be present.
Bell Controller Relay in an Alarm state with Unresponsive status.
Unresponsive alert notification received.
Bell Controller yellow LED indicator is flashing and No Signal displayed on the LCD screen.
Bell Controller has not checked-in to OneVue for more than 3 hours, which is set by its Unresponsive Timeout set by OneVue. The Unresponsive Timeout is the maximum amount of time a Bell Controller can go without a check-in to OneVue. When this time limit is exceeded, it is set to an Alarm state with an Unresponsive status.
Recommended corrective action
To temporarily stop alert notifications, acknowledge the alert.
While at the device, verify its network connection. Press and release the check-in button .
Listen to the beep sequence and perform the steps in the table below based on the beeps emitted.
Corrective action steps
1 beep only
Indicates it could not connect to its assigned Network.
From OneVue, verify the network assigned to device gateway.
Is the device assigned to a static IP address? If yes, use the OWDC app or the Primex Device Configuration software to update its IP address.
1 beep followed by 2 beeps and no more beeps
Indicates it did not check-in to OneVue.
Contact onsite IT support staff to verify:
Firewall settings meet the OneVue Network Requirements.
Signal strength at location.
Entire beep sequence
Indicates it successfully connected checked-in to OneVue. Log in to OneVue and verify it returned to a Normal state.
Determine cause and resolve the network connection issue.
Confirm check-in to OneVue and returned to a Normal state.
If the issue cannot be resolved, replace it with a backup device.
