Your organization may have policies and procedures that apply to your OneVue monitored conditions. This may include how staff responds to and logs the action taken when a Monitored Asset is in an Alarm state or when any type of state change event has occurred.
User comments can be added to any state change event, allowing staff to log the cause of the condition and the action taken. All user comments are permanently stored in the state history of a Monitored Asset and included in the Asset Summary Report and Monitored Asset State History Report.
For example, when a Monitored Asset, such as a refrigeration unit, changes to an Alarm state, a user can add a comment that explains the cause of the state-change, such as “Door was left open slightly” or “Followed Remediation Procedure QMS12-04 - Resulting in Repair Call".
Go to Monitoring > Monitored Assets.
Select the Monitored Asset link.
Select State History View option.
If the Monitored Asset has more than one assigned sensor, each sensor type is displayed. Selecting all sensors displays the history of each individual sensor. The sensor name represents the type of sensor, last four digits of the sensor gateway MAC address and sensor channel (example: Temperature-42:E1-1).
If no data is displayed, this indicates a state-change event did not occur during the selected date range.
Set the date range to include.
From the Event History of the state-change, select Add Comment.
