A Differential Pressure Sensor device can be mounted to the outside surface of a wall or other type of surface using the supplied 3M™ Dual Lock™ Tape strips.
Identify the tube routing path and locate the sensor in an area that allows the length of the tubing to reach either a wall snubber plate or door gasket. The two pressure ports located on the bottom of the device enclosure are labeled High and Low. The output signal reads a positive value when the port pressure is higher on the High port than the Low port.
Prepare the mounting area to ensure maximize adhesion. If there is moisture, dry the area first.
Apply two pieces of the supplied 3M™ Dual Lock™ Tape to the back of the device; top and bottom, horizontally centered.
Apply two pieces of the supplied 3M™ Dual Lock™ Tape to the mounting surface; align with device tape position.
Affix the device to the mounting surface.
Dress and secure the tubing as needed. Arrange the tubing to minimize stress on the connections and ensure there are no kinks in the tubing.
If applicable, apply additional power to the device; AC or PoE. For door switch monitoring, it's recommended to supply AC-power to the sensor device and apply battery power for backup power purposes only.
Attach removable port cover - slide the cover's two tabs into the first slot located on each side of the sensor device.
