Readings are frequently out of range. Monitored Asset continuously enters an Alarm state with an Out of Range, Past Alarm Delay status or a Warning state with an Out of Range status.
A Monitored Asset is experiencing temperature excursions, resulting in multiple Alarm conditions (alert fatigue).
Does the probe have a thermobuffer? If yes, verify it's mounted correctly.
Check the probe mounting and then verify it meets the Probe/Thermobuffer mounting guidelines.
From OneVue, verify the Monitored Asset's assigned sensor Normal Condition setting (located in the sensor profile). Ensure the low and/or high range is not equal to or too close to the expected, normal operating range of the Monitored Asset.
Verify the sensor's Alarm Delay setting.
If set too low, this may result in multiple alarms and continuously going back into a Normal state in short time periods. This type of short excursion may be due to the opening and closing of a refrigeration unit door.
Verify the refrigeration unit temperature is set to the facility's SOP and/or policy for the condition being monitored.
Is this a newly installed or repaired refrigeration unit? It may take up to 2 to 7 days for the temperature to stabilize.
If excursions continue, it's recommended to escalate to facility maintenance to determine if replacing or repairing the refrigeration unit is required.
