You will receive alert notifications when a condition being monitored is in an Alarm state and you are added to the Alert Rule that generated the alert. Commonly, you will be added to Alert Rules that include the conditions, which may be a Primex device or a Monitored Asset, that you are responsible for. If you are not receiving alerts, contact your OneVue account admin to verify you are added to the Alert Rule for the conditions you are responsible for.
Alert notifications do not apply to OneVue Sync Bluetooth and PoE devices. Reports provide an automated method to notify you when a device may require attention.
Alert Preference options
If email is selected, notifications are sent to your email address.
If text or voice is selected, notifications are sent to your mobile phone number.
If you have set your preference to receive voice alerts and your facility has an IVR system, you will need to provide the call routing details in the Dialer Suffix setting.
How to update or change how you receive alerts
From the top-upper right corner, select your name or the avatar image.
Select an option from Alert Preferences. If all three methods are selected, you receive an email, text, and voice message for each alert notification.
Alert notifications are sent to you in the form of the method(s) selected.
OneVue text and voice alerts are sent from phone number 608-709-7043 and the caller ID is Primex OneVue.
OneVue email alerts are sent from email@example.com
