Model: Automatic Setting Analog Clock

Symptoms

All or some of the symptoms may be present.

Clock appears to miss-step as it goes up the dial.
Clock appears to miss step as it goes between 6 and 12.

Cause

The clock gearbox is possibly damaged and/or battery level is low.

Analyze

Replace the clock batteries. Always replace with new, superior-quality alkaline batteries with an expiration date five years from the current year.

Stretch the battery tabs in the battery holder out slightly to apply more pressure to the battery contact, then insert two batteries into the battery holder.

Solution

Replace the clock batteries.
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, the clock gearbox may be compromised.
