InfoBoards can operate as an Elapsed Timer with both count up and count down options. The three-button Timer Control Switch allows a user to start, pause, stop, and reset the count events, and set an event to begin at a specific time increment. When not in an active count event, an InfoBoard displays synchronized time and general messaging.
Timer Control Switch: connected to device's RJ11 port. The Timer Control Switch can simultaneously activate two connected devices for even more accurate time management.
Manage count events: event is activated, paused, and stopped by end user from Timer Control Switch.

Configure audible ring tone: a Large or Medium InfoBoard emits an audible ring tone at a stop event. Set in the InfoBoard Group assigned to InfoBoards.
OneVue Notify Monitor subscription and InfoBoard must be connected to an Ethernet network.
Set to begin at a time increment: an event can be set to begin its count down or count up from a specific time increment. A count up event starts at the 00:00:00 time increment and a count down event starts at the 99:59:00 time increment. Either of these can be set to a specific increment through the Timer Control Switch.
Count Up and Count Down events are triggered by the use of the three-button Timer Control Switch allowing a user to control events and allows a user to set to a count event start time.

Enabling a ring tone at the stop of a count event is configured through the InfoBoard Group assigned to InfoBoards. The type of ring tone is also assigned through a InfoBoard Group, and you can create specific ring tones to meet your requirements. Any update to the InfoBoard Group is made to all InfoBoards assigned to the InfoBoard Group.
Locate the InfoBoard Group assigned to the InfoBoard. Go to Devices > InfoBoards > select the Name of the InfoBoard to view its profile > from its InfoBoard Group select View. The InfoBoard Group profile is displayed.
Select the checkbox Play ring type for elapsed timer stop.
Select the Ring Type.

The setting update is downloaded to the InfoBoard at its next connection to OneVue. By default, an InfoBoard connects to OneVue every 5 minutes (Config Change Interval setting) to download setting updates.
The following sections provide the instructions to start, pause, and end Count Up and Count Down events.
By default, a Count Up event starts at 0.0:00 00. If you need the timer to start at a specific time increment, rather than 0.0:00 00, complete the steps in section Count Up - how to set its Start Time.
Set to Count Up mode, press and release the DISPLAY button until the timer displays all zeros (0.0:00 00), which indicates it is in Count Up mode.
To Start the Count Up event, press and release the STOP/START button.
To Stop or Pause the event, press and release the STOP/START button. If the audio buzzer option is enabled, the timer emits an audible alarm for 2 seconds and holds the time count.
To resume a Paused event, press and release the STOP/START button.
To automatically stop the current count event and reset the count to its preset start time, press and release the RESET button once.
To return to Clock Mode, which displays its synchronized time, press and release the DISPLAY button until the current time is displayed.
By default, the Count Down event starts at 99 (hours):59 (minutes):59 (seconds) or can be set to a customized start time. If you need the timer to count down for a specific duration of time, you will need to set its start time.
Set to Count Down mode, press the DISPLAY button until the timer displays 99:59 59 or its previously set start time.
To automatically stop the current count event and reset the count to its start time, press and release the RESET button once.
To return to Clock Mode, which displays its synchronized time, press and release the DISPLAY button until the current time is displayed.
The following sections provide the instructions to set the start time increment for count events.
You can set the start time using the three-button Timer Control Switch. For a count up event, the default start time is 0.0:00 00.
Note
In this state the red text labeled on the bottom of the switch control button sets the start time - EXIT, SET/CHANGE, and INCREMENT, the dash, colon, and decimal points are not displayed, and the digit currently being set is flashing.
Set to Count Up mode, press and release the DISPLAY button until 0.0:00 00 is displayed, which indicates it is in Count Up mode.
Press and Hold the SET/CHANGE button for 3 seconds to enter the Set state, initially displays “ _ _:_ _ _ _” and then displays the current set start time. The last digit will blink, which is the current selected digit.
Press and release the SET/CHANGE button to go to the time increment you want to change – then press the INCREMENT button to advance the digit to the desired start time. Repeat this process until you set the time you want to start the event.
When the start time is set, press and release the EXIT button to return to Count Up mode.
Now, you can press and release the STOP/START button to start, stop or pause the count event.
You can set the start time using the three-button Timer Control Switch. For a count down event, the default start time is 99:59 59. For example, you may want the timer to count down from 10:00 minutes.
Note
In this state, the red text labeled on the bottom of the switch control button sets the custom start time - EXIT, SET/CHANGE, and INCREMENT, the dash, colon, and decimal points are not displayed, and the digit currently being set is flashing.
Set to Count Down mode, press and release the DISPLAY button until 99:59 59 or its previously set start time is displayed, indicating it is in Count Down mode.
Press and hold the SET/CHANGE button for 3 seconds to enter Set state, which is initially indicated by “ _ _:_ _ _ _” on the display and then the timer displays the last start time set or the default start time of 99:59 59. The last digit will blink, which identifies the current selected digit.
-
Press and release the SET/CHANGE button to advance to the time increment you want to change. Then press the INCREMENT button to advance the digit to the desired time value.
For the example to set a count down to start at 10 minutes, you would change the minute increment (set to 00:10 00). Repeat this process until you set the time you want to start the count down event.
When the start time is set, press and release the EXIT button to return to Count Down mode.
Now, you can press and release the STOP/START button to start, stop, or pause the count event.
A Ring Type specifies the audible tone emitted from a Large or Medium InfoBoard during an elapsed timer stop event. A custom ring type can be configured to a specific ring pattern by setting its duration, repeat delay, and the number of rings.
Due to ring types also apply to the Notify Bell Scheduling solution, please note the terms "bell and/or rings" represents the tone emitted from an InfoBoard.
Go to Scheduling > Ring Types.
-
The list of ring types is displayed.
Default ring types do not have a profile and cannot be edited or deleted.
Custom ring types are indicted by its Name as a link. A custom ring type can be updated and can be deleted if it's not assigned to a period in a zone (bell schedule).
