OneVue alerting ensures your staff receives continuous alerts when your Monitored Assets/Sensors are in an Alarm state.
Staff continuously receives alerts (no pauses) and escalation alerts are sent based on when the Monitored Asset/Sensor entered an Alarm state.
If you are managing your organization's Alert Rules, the following settings do impact when staff receives alerts during an alarm condition.
Alert Interval: sets how often alerts are sent if the alert is not acknowledged. Alerts are sent to staff added to the Alerts Go To setting.
Resume Alerts After: when alerts resume after an alert has been acknowledged. Alerts are sent to staff added to the Alerts Go To setting.
Escalation Time: when the first escalation alert is sent. The one-time alert is sent to staff added to the Escalate To setting.
Next Escalation Time: when the second escalation alert is sent. The one-time alert is sent to staff added to the Next Escalate To setting.
Send 'return to normal notification': when enabled, staff receives a notification when an alert has ended and the Monitored Asset/Sensor has returned to a Normal state. This notification is not sent to those added to the two escalation alerts.
