Detector contacts
Detects water bridge across the two metal contacts located on the bottom side of the Water Detector. A change to the voltage reading measurement detects a dry or wet condition. When water reaches both metal contacts, activates a change to the voltage reading measurement that is then received by Water Leak Sensor.
Integrated hanger for high-level water monitoring
Detector input; daisy chaining up to four water detectors to one Water Leak Sensor
AC power; Mini B port
Water Detector; Mini B port
PoE/Ethernet port (PoE model only)
Contact Closure removable terminal block (enabled with Water Leak & Contact Closure Sensor model only)
Primex sensors are equipped with a reading alarm audio alert. The audio alert is activated when a reading is out of range and the time period it has been out of range has exceeded the time period set in its Alarm Delay. Be default, the audio alert is disabled.
When the audio alert is enabled (disabled by default) and the sensor is in a reading Alarm state, the sensor emits an audio beep at one second intervals. Also, when powered by AC or PoE, the sensor's red LED flashes once per second.
During a reading Alarm state, pressing and immediately releasing the silence button clears the audio alert and stops the red LED from flashing, but does not acknowledge the alert. The audio alert resumes once the time period of the Resume Audio Alert setting has been reached.
Audio alert settings are configured from a sensor's gateway profile.
