Water Detector cord length is 13 ft. (3.9 m). Perimeter being monitored can be expanded by daisy chaining up to a maximum of four Water Detectors.
It’s important to place a Water Detector in the proper location. Water tends to puddle at the lowest point of the floor and underneath pipe junctions and HVAC units.
