This topic provides the instructions to configure a Notify InfoBoard that will be managed and monitored from OneVue. During configuration, the InfoBoard is added to your OneVue account. Be sure to complete the steps in the order as they appear below.
Transmitter: each OneVue Sync Transmitter is configured, installed, and operating.
Mobile device: has either Wi-Fi or mobile connectivity enabled during configuration.
App log in access: your OneVue user profile is assigned to the Account Admin or Network Admin role.
Get the Primex OneVue Device Configurator (ODC) app from the Apple App Store or Google Play store. If you already have the app, turn on automatic updates or check for updates.
The app guides you through the configuration process.
Apply power to the InfoBoard and connect it to an Ethernet network.

From your mobile device, open the OneVue Device Configurator (ODC) app .
Select Connect to OneVue.
Enter your OneVue username > select Next > enter your password > select Log In.

Select the OneVue account the InfoBoard is to be added to.
If your user login is associated with more than one OneVue account, the account selection option is displayed.

Set InfoBoard into Bluetooth discoverable mode: press and release its Bluetooth pairing button.
Button is located in its backside connection panel. It's best to use a paper clip or similar object to press and release the button.

From available devices, select the InfoBoard 12-character MAC address (printed on a label affixed to its back panel).
IB403: Indicates Large InfoBoard model
IB402: indicates Medium InfoBoard model
IB401: indicates MiniBoard model
If the InfoBoard is not listed, select the app Refresh icon.

Configure its primary settings.
Optionally, these settings can be updated from OneVue.
Name: unique name of the device. Commonly set to identify its install location.
Time Zone: by default, set to the OneVue Account Time Zone.

(Optional) Advanced settings. These settings can also be configured from OneVue.
Time Source: set to receive time updates from Transmitter (default) or from a NTP server by selecting Manual NTP Configuration (requires Ethernet connection). If set to NTP, the NTP server IP addresses must be configured in OneVue.
Firmware: update firmware version only when directed by Primex Technical Support.
Select Save to complete configuration.
Label the device with its configured Name or identify its MAC address on a floorplan. You will then update its Name in OneVue.

Log in to OneVue and verify the InfoBoard has been added to OneVue.
Go to Devices > InfoBoards > locate the Name entered during configuration or if a name was not entered locate its 12-character MAC address.

Verify its State, which it must be in either of the below States.
State is blank (gray): added to OneVue but has not connected to network. When it connects to the network, it will check-in to OneVue and be set to a Normal state.
Normal (green): connected to network and checked-in to OneVue (last check-in date/time displayed).
