A Bell Controller device has two dry contact closure inputs. These inputs can optionally be wired to an external dry contact closure switch or button for activating a non-scheduled event, referred to as an impromptu bell. The Impromptu Bell Pattern sets the ring pattern for an impromptu bell event.
OneVue provides default ring types and you can also create custom ring types.
Go to Devices > Bell Controller Relays.
-
From the list, select the 12-character Gateway ID link of the Bell Controller.
Select Show Advanced Options.
-
From the Impromptu Bell Pattern drop-down menu, select an option.
-
Select Save.
The Update Pending status is set to Yes when a setting change is scheduled to be downloaded to the device during its next check-in to OneVue. Setting changes take effect when downloaded to the device. Once downloaded, its Updating Pending status is set to No.
